The new year has just begun, but already a number of poker events have been scheduled. Organizers like the World Series of Poker (WSOP) and European Poker Tour (EPT) have already published their tournament schedules in December. So it’s certainly easier for you to plan your poker trips with National Casino login. High prize money will also be distributed at the German Poker Days and many other tournament events in 2023. Major events also hold the chance of producing new millionaires.
GAMBLING TRADE FAIR ICE WAS HOLD AGAIN IN LONDON
From February 7 to 9, 2023, the International Casinos Exhibition set up shop at ExCel London, as in previous years. Keep this date in mind to be on time to buy the next years’ tickets. The exhibition center was already used in 2012 for various disciplines of the Olympic Games.
At the ICE, managers, regulators, investors, and professionals come together to network, hold seminars, and present new products. Only those who stay up to date have a chance to compete in the iGaming sector in the long term, and this is also true for new casinos looking to make their mark among a host of established operators.
Every year, ICE welcomes tens of thousands of visitors. Around 35,000 guests are expected again in 2023. In the run-up to the event, however, the organizer had faced heavy criticism from Merkur Gamings. The German Gauselmann Group had demanded that the fair be moved to Europe. As a result of the Brexit, it had simply become too expensive for foreign companies to enter the UK.
GERMAN POKER DAYS AS A GUEST AT KING’S
Shortly after Valentine’s Day, the German Poker Days was held at King’s on Thursday, February 16, 2023. At the €199 Main Event, no less than €300,000 will be slumbering in the prize pool. The tournament played until Sunday, February 20.
The €300,000 tournament is not the only event on the schedule. In two turbo tournaments, a bounty event and in the discipline Pot-Limit Omaha you can prove your poker skills many times.
If the € 199 is too expensive for you, you have the opportunity to qualify for € 40 at two satellite tournaments on Wednesday and Thursday. There will also be a last-longer bet during the Main Event. Those who last long will make the return trip with a non-cash prize.
WORLD POKER TOUR MADE A STOP IN SLOVAKIA
Last year, the World Poker Tour celebrated its 20th anniversary. In 2023, the WPT was touring the world once again. Starting Thursday, May 11, 2023, the WPT returned to the Slovakian capital of Bratislava. An entry fee of €1,100 is required for the Main Event. The event concluded on Monday, May 15, 2023.
The event played at Card Casino Bratislava. The event site is located not far from Bratislava Airport and can also be easily reached on foot.
Among other things, this stop of the WPT – as with other festivals on the tour – played out seats for the WPT World Championship in December. An incredible $15 million is guaranteed at the WPT World Championship. The €13,000 package includes the $10,400 buy-in and pays for travel expenses. The world champion was crowned at the end of the year at Wynn Las Vegas.
